? 1. What in your experience makes you a highly qualified candidate for the position of judge?

(No candidates submitted answers to this question)

? 2. What are your thoughts about the new structure for the court system?

Answer from Steve Wright:

I have spent my entire 32 year legal career inside the courtroom. I have the experience, ability, wisdom and strength to immediately and effectively administer justice in our courts. I fully understand our laws, procedure and how our courts operate. With more than 200 civil and criminal jury trials, including over 10 murder cases, I understand the complex rules of law and evidence to immediately handle even the most serious cases. Most importantly I have earned the respect and trust of both my peers and adversaries. This respect combined with my proven ability to communicate effectively with the people who come through the courts will enable me to promote fair and reasonable resolutions.
