Scott Levitt has served as Chief General Counsel for a mid-size industrial contractor and real estate developer for the better part of the past decade. His duties extend well beyond standard legal tasks, and involve accounting, finance, land acquisition, company-wide organization and strategy development. Prior to this position, Mr. Levitt was the Sr. Accountant and Finance Manager for six years for a residential real estate development company and contractor. Before entering the real estate industry, Mr. Levitt served in several management positions for various companies in the food processing industry.

Mr. Levitt has taught college courses in both law and finance at Chapman University and Cal Poly Pomona extension services. He is a licensed attorney in the state of California, a member of the State Bar, the U.S. District Court, and was sworn in personally by Chief Justice Roberts into the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Levitt is also a licensed real estate broker and general contractor.

Mr. Levitt grew up in Southern California, attending Los Alamitos High School, a nationally ranked, blue-ribbon school. Mr. Levitt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from California State University Long Beach, making the Honor's List several semesters. One year later, at the same university, he received his Masters in Business Administration degree at the age of 22, the youngest at the time in the school's history.

Scott Levitt received his Juris Doctorate degree from Chapman University School of Law with an emphasis in Real Estate, Land Use, and Environmental Law. He worked the maximum amount of hours allowed by the American Bar Association, and still was the only member of his graduating class to graduate a semester early. Mr. Levitt was the class commencement speaker and entered Chapman on a 100% tuition Provost Scholar Scholarship.

Several years later, while maintaining his career, Mr. Levitt returned to academia to pursue a Masters in Law degree (LL.M.), specializing in Business Law and Economics. He studied directly under Mr. Vernon L. Smith, 2002 Nobel Prize winner in Economics. Mr. Levitt's studies were concentrated in two areas, the interaction of government and lobbyist interests, studying the effects of such legal, but unethical relationships; and the (drastic) effects of socialism and the over-reaching arm of governments in economics.
