Pat Williams

Occupation: Lead EMS Pilot

I have made a life long commitment to public service, focusing on public safety. I have served as a volunteer firefighter, worked as a firefighter / paramedic, was active with the United States Army. I am currently a Lead Emergency Services Helicopter Pilot working with public safety agencies all over California. As a pilot, my experience ranged from the military to public safety and included firefighting in California with both state and federal agencies.

I was recently sworn in as an interim Director for the Diamond Springs - El Dorado Fire Protection District.

I hold a bachelors degree in aviation with a minor in fire science. I am on the Boards of the National EMS Pilots Association and the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems, focusing on the improvement of the delivery of emergency medical services.

I have been an active resident and property owner in the Diamond Springs + El Dorado Fire Protection District for six years. I live here with my spouse and have raised five children, one of which is a firefighter in Washington. During this time we have been actively involved in functions with Marshall Hospital and the Log Town Fire Safe Council.
