Candidate for
Council Member; City of Fountain Valley

I am the 12th child in a family of 15. Growing up I learned the values of hard work and integrity. I do not believe in entitlements and handouts. I do believe in helping others, especially when they are down on their luck.

I feel there is way too much government and too much government interference in todays society. This is not sustainable. We need to collaborate and communicate and shrink the size and influence of an oppressive government, before it is too late.

Police, Fire and Public Safety are the cornerstone of our City and our Nation. Education is the foundation on which to build our future. Our citizens are the mortar. I am blessed to be an American, and I know it!!! Our men and women in uniform are doing the dirty work so we can all continue to live in America with the freedoms that go with it.

It is time for the citizens to re-claim their country, let government know that they are public servants and are there to serve "the will of the people"(not the other way around).

In 2004, the residents of Fountain Valley passed a Measure by a margin of 73.9% limiting Council Members to 3 terms (12 years). I am not clear on this one. Can someone help me by explaining why it does not take effect until 2016????? I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
