I am a graduate of the University of California - Davis and have been a consultant to the California State Senate for 16 years. I have been the Deputy Superintendent for Government Affairs at the California Department of Education and now advocate for school districts and education groups professionally before the State Legislature. I've served 21 years on the Natomas School Board while the district grew from 800 students to over 10,000.
