Commitment To Education Lorenzo has committed his life to education, serving over 40 years as a qualified teacher. Lorenzo believes a solid education in the basics, discipline and a strong parent and community involvement in education are important.

Experience In Leadership With 21 years of board experience, Lorenzo served as our representative and been President of both the elementary and secondary boards. Lorenzo first insisted that parents, teachers and the community share their concerns directly with the school board.

Ability To Get The Job Done As President of the Sweetwater Board, Lorenzo's leadership created safe and secure schools, restored public accountability for district finances, reduced administrative overhead by over 3 million dollars, Fiscal

Accountability + Received San Diego Taxpayers Association Golden Watchdog Award for saving taxpayer dollars, increased academic and co-curricular programs (music/athletics) and instituted new student career programs, Higher Test Scores. Lorenzo remains committed to continue such accomplishments for our students.

Commitment To Our Community - District citizens know that Lorenzo cares about youth and our community though his active involvement in PTA, Boys & Girls Clubs, Little League, Bobby Sox, Boys Scouts, YMCA, Kiwanis, Elks, VFW, FRA and Shriners.
