Board Member; Encinitas Union Elementary School District

• I have served on the EUSD board for 12 years, and have a record of accomplishment, providing the leadership that has moved the district into the top 3% in the state. Why I'm running

• I have demonstrated fiscal responsibility, resulting in balanced budgets, no layoffs, and clean and modern schools for all our children.

• I support our quality teachers and challenging curriculum, resulting in our high test scores. Every school is above the state's target score of 800, and has been designated a California Distinguished School. Three have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools.

• I am proud to be part of EUSD's governance team, and want to continue on the team as we move toward providing 21st century skills for all our students.
