Candidate for
Council Member; City of Turlock

I'm running for city council because I have the experience and ability to deal with policy, budgetary and personnel issues that affect the performance of a city. My platform is a simple one, employment, police and fire protection, stable neighborhoods and a strong sense of community.

I believe the council has the responsibility to bring economic growth through industrial and commercial development providing jobs for our citizens. Turlock needs a productive and effective council providing consistent leadership. As a small business owner, I believe it is the council's responsibility to support policies that make it easier to open and operate a business.

I spent 14 years as an elected official and a volunteer providing our children a strong education and a sense of community. I believe that we need to have a greater focus on the needs of our youth by providing them creative outlets so that they can foster a personal pride in their community.

Bringing new industry, job creation and maintaining our levels of police and fire safety are paramount in keeping Turlock the jewel of the valley. Those will be my goals when elected.
