I received my degree in Economics from Albright College and my MBA in Accounting from Saint Joseph's University. After serving in the U.S. Navy, I worked in the banking industry for five years; then was employed for 25 years at AT&T Microelectronics as Financial Planning Manager, Business Operations Manager, and Assistant Controller. The past 10 years I taught at a high school and at Alvernia University.

My family includes my wife, Elizabeth, three daughters and one son, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

I served the community as a volunteer fireman and was also a board member for a local volunteer ambulance association.

I am member of the VFW, American Legion, and Pennsylvania Free Masons. I am a supporter of the Human Society, SPCA, Paralyzed Veterans, and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
