1. What services do you believe should be considered basic and essential for the Village?
Police and Fire Safety Services, Garbage collection, Public buildings and spaces reasonably maintained, Basic road maintenance, Basic village administration2. How would you balance the Village Budget?
Through a perfect storm of negative financial happenings, Glendale in 2012 will face a roughly 20% deficit in General Fund operation. During the first half of 2012 the new Mayor and Council must define what a 20% cut to each Village service would look like and present this to residents in Town Hall meetings and focus groups. Resident comments must guide the Mayor and Council on the amount of the property tax renewal that will appear on the Fall 2012 ballot for voter approval.3. What actions will you take to support clean air?
