Additional Endorsements for Edith Crawford
Candidate for |

|
________________________________________ As a classroom teacher at Rosemont High School, it has been an honor to work with Edith Crawford as she spearheaded the Safe Schools Ambassador anti-bullying campaign at this site. Using her vast experience as an educator and administrator, Edith was able to make powerful connections within both the school community and the non-profit world in a groundbreaking effort to insure school safety in the East Sacramento area. In every encounter with Edith, those of us who work with her see the powerful effects of her deep caring juxtaposed with great experience and intelligence. Sacramento County Board of Education needs someone with this level of commitment, caring, and deep insight as we move forward in these uncertain times.
Julie Snider, Science Teacher, School Site Council Member, Gay-Straight Alliance Advisor I am endorsing Edith Crawford for one reason; she puts the children FIRST she does not say one thing and do another. She is a professional who understands what is at stake for our children, and that along with her years of experience not only as a teacher, as an administrator, but as a mother who values parents and understands our fears for our kids, because she is one of us. We need someone like Edith who has the bureaucratic understanding of our educational system, but also possess a conscience, a will to make things better, a need to see the right thing done for no other reason than it is the right thing. Martin Luther King said, "In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. Please don't be silent, vote for Edith Crawford! Peace,
Lisa Ford-Berry
Catherine Minicucci <Cathy@minicucciassociates.net> Here you go, Edith, good luck! Keep me posted on your progress on both fronts. "Edith is a talented student-centered educator with an inclusive vision. Her work at the Galt Joint Union HIgh School District, Mira Loma and Encina High Schools, prepare her to be an excellent county board member."
