Lane Schneider has lived in San Bernardino County since 1980. She has a B.A. in Russian Studies and Slavic Languages from the University of Florida. Two years of teaching in Poland and also traveling in Eastern Europe before the fall of the Berlin Wall helped shape her convictions about individual liberty and freedom.

Lane's professional career has been one of creative problem-solving and communication as a graphic designer, film editor and creative director. She has more than 25 years of experience with Christian nonprofit ministries Campus Crusade for Christ and World-Wide Missions & Affiliates. Currently she owns her own freelance design business.

She is the founding organizer (2009) of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots. Since 2010 Lane has also been involved with the San Bernardino County Republican Party as an alternate on the Central Committee and as a Precinct Captain Committee member.

Lane is married to Greg, a professional photojournalist. Their daughter Rachel lives in Seattle.
