Sustainable economic development planning + I have led the effort to create the first Economic Development Coordinator position for the County. We are currently engaged in a planning process along the main transportation corridor that will combine economic analysis and urban planning to benefit both economic opportunities and the environment.

Services for youth + I am working to construct a new Boys & Girls Club in Live Oak in collaboration with the Live Oak School District and I am working with community-based organizations and the Sheriff to expand successful programs like Futsal and Jr. Giants.

Public Safety + I am actively involved with the Justice Reinvestment Initiative with the Sheriff and the Probation Director to identify criminal justice strategies that save resources that can be reinvested to enhance public safety while still holding people accountable for their actions.
