This is a watershed political year...in the nation...in California...in San Diego...and right here in our neighborhoods.

While we are beginning to feel more optimistic, times will be difficult for the next few years. But San Diego began as just such an optimistic vision ... to build a great city by the sea. It is time to renew and redirect our vision, make the right choices, and get things done.

As your Councilmember, my top priority is ensuring your neighborhood gets its fair share of the taxes you pay, so we can pave local streets, create more parks, increase neighborhood safety, protect seniors, and support local businesses.

Pulling together, we will make every neighborhood in the 7th District a better place to live, work, and raise our families.
