I believe that there is a role in government to make people's lives better and to ensure fairness in our economic, social and political lives.

I believe that the Democratic Party in general seeks to effect that role in its governance policies. That role is evidenced by our consistent advocacy not only for government support of public education and fair economic policies, but also fair business regulation as appropriate.

I believe that the Republican Party have evolved into a generally corrupt Mafia who seek to enrich themselves and their cronies using public resources simply as just another source of income and wealth for themselves. That role is evidenced by their consistent opposition to fair economic policies and their candidates' attempts to abolish the federal Department of Education whose role is to enforce fairness and standards in education throughout the nation.
