Smart Voter Official Statement for Joe DiDuca

Candidate for
County Supervisor; County of Butte; Supervisorial District 5

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Joe DiDuca
Butte County Supervisor 5th District
Age: 48
Occupation: Businessman / Town Councilmember

As a small business owner and parent, I've experienced the challenges that Butte County residents are facing, especially with this bad economy. With my eight years of experience serving on the Paradise Town Council and Planning Commission, I have developed a clear, conservative understanding of what government should do and shouldn't do. I believe high unemployment and the constant assaults on our rights are the negative results of to much buearacracy. We need less government and that's why I want to serve as your Supervisor.

My priorities will be to create a job-friendly County, increase public safety, provide better roads and services, and decrease bureaucracy. I will fight for your rights as a taxpayer and with a $460 million County budget we can do it, but it will take fiscal restraint and responsibility to prioritize every item. I will not vote to raise taxes.

Taxpayers deserve a life of financial independence and are entitled to the enjoyment of their liberties. No government has ever taxed its way to prosperity, and as your Supervisor I will work every day to make sure Butte County is accountable for your money. Visit JoeDiDuca.net, call 570-9694

Vote common sense, vote for Joe DiDuca
