2012 Election Statement

As a locally-based farmer and small business person, I have always been focused on the cost, consistency, cleanliness and quality of our area water. Our water is precious and needs to be protected every day, both as a base element in our environment and from political exploitation.

Our water is absolutely the best that can be delivered to you the end consumer. I am proud to have served you as Division 2 Director for the past four years and to have been a part of the policy making body that has been influential in the process of relicensing with the State of California. This is a great Agency to work with; the Administration is forward thinking and decisive. The staff is knowledgeable, dedicated and talented. My fellow Directors are equally dedicated to continuing to preserve the Agency heritage.

Reduced domestic and irrigation water rates, renovations to existing infrastructure and continued stewardship of our existing resources are just a few of the highlights of the last four years service. I look forward to serving Division 2 for the next four years and continuing to vote to "Protect Our Water". Thank-you for your vote on November 6th.
