Safe and Clean City - Address the rise of panhandling in our cityBy Brad BarberCandidate for Council Member; City of Laguna Niguel | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Keeping Laguna Niguel one of the safest and cleanest cities in California is one of my highest priorities.I have lived in Laguna Niguel my whole life. I promise to do all in my power to protect the safety and cleanliness makes this one of the best towns. The downturn of our economy has devastated many people in and around our town. With this we have seen a large increase in the amount of panhandling around our shopping centers. I pledge to do what I can to help direct the needy to available resources (Private Non-Profit Groups) as opposed to having them panhandle in our community. We need to continue to encourage citizens be involved and help within our local non profits to provide services to the needy. |
