Political Philosophy for Al Jabbar

Children in my neighborhood tell me their dreams of becoming a doctor, a teacher, or an inventor. It's the American dream. To get there, nothing can replace quality education. As the son of a teacher, I learned early on hard-work ethic and civic responsibility. I worked hard, earning college degrees and am now a professional with the Health Care Agency serving local families. As a city commissioner, I promote arts, culture and civic participation. I am involved with our neighborhoods, working to keep our streets clean and neighborhoods safe and free of violence. Now raising a family, my wife and I plan to send our daughter to schools in the district. And every kid in our neighborhood including my daughter deserves top notch education. I will fight for: 21st century, comprehensive education including the arts, music and social studies Fiscally Responsible Budgets Reduced Class Sizes Special Education services Anaheim Teachers and a bi-partisan coalition of education leaders support me. As Americans, we don't make excuses. We roll-up our sleeves and get to work. I want our schools to be the best. I want our schools to produce the best. I promise to work hard and serve you |
