I am running to restore fiscal sanity and good governance to the MNWD. In recent years this Board raised rates three times by over 16% each time, far exceeding the need for prudent reserves. Most abusive is their unfair tiered rate structure imposing higher costs on struggling customers. While the economy has been devastating to many families, this Board continuously increased compensation to absurd levels, siphoning excessive amounts of public money away from the local community. |
