Sound Fiscal Management is critical. The State of California is in a fiscal emergency and every dollar is precious. I will insist on fiscally responsible oversight of the Huntington Beach Union High School District and protection of your tax dollars.

The High School District must budget responsibly, scrutinize every expenditure, and eliminate waste to maximize the resources available to educate our children.

All spending should be analyzed in terms of its contribution to student learning.
