My mission for Mission City (Santa Clara) is to preserve healthy neighborhoods and ensure a diverse range of employment, housing, open space, public safety and investment opportunities with democratic accountability. I believe that city projects should contribute to the overall environmental, fiscal and economic well being to further enhance our quality of life.

As your trusted representative, it is my privilege and an honor to bring a 'fresh & and independent' perspective to the Santa Clara City Council. I am committed to managing growth, change and sustainability in a collaborative way. I celebrate our community's past and want to successfully build abundance for the future.

I have lived in Santa Clara for the past 20 years, with my wife Sarah and our children. I am a Professor in the School of Business. I understand the current business challenges. I've held many civic leadership roles connecting well with the community. I am committed to ethical leadership, and would be honored to have your vote for Seat #3.
