Education and Qualifications:
I am running for the Los Altos City Council to bring a fresh perspective to our local government.

As past president of our local League of Women Voters, I promote transparency, integrity and consensus building in government. I will represent all the people in our city, and reach out to the significant talent that exists in this special place.

With Stanford degrees in civil engineering and business, I started and led companies in the renewable energy field for over 30 years. I know fiscal responsibility, how to ask the hard questions, and how to make decisions. The money our city spends is our responsibility and needs to be spent efficiently and wisely.

I am a mom with two great kids who received excellent educations in our public schools. I moved here in 1985, love living in Los Altos, and have a track record of volunteering for many school and community non-profit organizations.

Now is the time for me to be of greater service to our community by applying my leadership knowledge in business and good government. I ask for your vote, to represent you and work together to build a successful future that respects our past and reflects our community values.
