MY ASSURANCE

Personally, my assurance as a potential College Trustee includes these major functions in order of importance:

1 - Represent the public interest 2 - Assure financial health and stability 3 - Monitor institutional performance and educational quality 4 - Advocate to protect the district 5 - Establish policies to secure items 1,2,3 and 4 from above

I am a candidate who is knowledgable, and has a record of balancing budgets -- having done so as President of the Tierrasanta Community Council and a manager in private industry for over 25 years.

In these wavering economic times, the only avenue for proper fiscal decisions in our Community College system is to ensure balanced, and effective decisions as a Trustee.

Our students deserve better. Our colleges deserve better. You deserve better.
