12 Years Serving Parents & Students

As a locally elected school board member, my most important role is being accessible and responsible to those who elect me, as well as, having the very special opportunity to serve the parents and students of this district.

I have served on many committees over the years and currently serve on the Audit & Finance committee, Bond Subcommittee, Supporting Education and Economic Development committee, 5 years serving as a delegate to the California School Boards Association's Delegate Assembly and the Boys and Girls Clubs of East County Foundation Board.

As a school board member, it's important to be active and engaged in the community; to work closely with legislators, business and community leaders, and organizations for the best interests of students.

I was honored last year to have been nominated in the Education category for the East County Chamber's "Women In Leadership" Award.
