Candidate for
Council Member; City of Healdsburg

I have been a Healdsburg Community Member for over 55 years. Educated in Healdsburg and Sonoma County. I began my 28-year career with the Healdsburg Police Department in July of 1976, retiring from the force in June of 2004.

I have been an active member of my community having served on such boards as the Healdsburg Boys and Girls' Club, the Graduation Celebration Committee and the Healdsburg Airport Commission prior to being elected to the Healdsburg City Council in 2004. I am now serving my second term on the Healdsburg City Council and served as Mayor in 2007 and 2012. I am a member of the Healdsburg Kiwanis Club and has served on the Kiwanis Board of Directors. I am serving as the Vice President of the Carson Warner Memorial Skate Park Committee. This Committee made up of community volunteers was instrumental in building and completing a world-class skate park in Healdsburg. The park opened approximately 10 years ago.
