1. How would you promote good nutrition in your schools?
Downingtown is a recognized leader in promoting healthy lifestlyes for our students and staff. Our buildings all have Wellness Committees. There are guidelines to offer students healthy food choices at class parties, discourage using food as a reward, along with initiatives to encourage physical activity. We believe in growing active minds and bodies in DASD!
