Why I am running for City Treasurer

The City of Hawthorne Deserves Better. Hawthorne has so much potential but it is lacking the right leadership.

The City Treasurers office needs Accountability and Transparency. The City needs a Treasurer with real Investment Experience.

I want to be City Treasurer so I can help move the city forward financially. Hawthorne has so much potential, but its apparent that its current leadership isn't equipped to help the city. I believe my education, business experience, gifts and talents make me especially suited for the job.

My entire background has prepared me for this job. I have a Bachelor's degree from USC in Business Administration, I am currently finishing my last course to complete my Masters Degree in Industrial & Organization Psychology. I have worked in Insurance, Investments, Real Estate and Taxation since 2000. I have 10 licenses in the financial services field.

I know I a lot about business, finance, and investments. I am currently a Financial Advisor. I am a good communicator and I know how to work with a lot of different people. I feel this background will allow be to make quality decisions on the city's behalf, and effectively work with all relevant city staff, and outside investment firms to carry out those decisions.

I care about my City and I want to see it succeed.
