Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Walnut Valley Unified School District

Cindy, a community leader in the San Gabriel Valley, currently serves on the Walnut Valley Unified School District Board of Education. She is dedicated to providing a quality education for all students, safe, secure and modern schools, providing 21st century skills, increased technology in the classroom, and fiscal accountability, even in today's difficult economic times. She has served on the board of trustees as President, Vice President and Clerk over the last 12 years.

As a volunteer leader for over 17 years, Cindy has served in a variety of volunteer positions. President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Parents Organizations of her children's schools; Manager, Treasurer and Tournament Director for the Walnut Youth Softball Organization; at the local, unit, regional, state and National level of the American Cancer Society; and currently she is a Vice President on the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation Executive Board.

A business professional, Cindy is a Sales Associate and Realtor for RE/MAX Realty 100 in Diamond Bar. She has been with RE/MAX for over 6 years now, prior to that she was with Century 21 Masters in Walnut. She enjoys working with people and providing the dream of home ownership or in today's environment, a solution to distressed property owners. With her passion for helping people and expertise in her field, she has handled a variety of complicated sales with ease and success. She is a strong negotiator and achieves the best for each client.

Cindy has been recognized for her servitude and dedication to education, the American Cancer Society, and business leadership. Because of her passion and dedication she has been a recipient of several awards:

Cindy is proudly married to her husband Paul of 26 years and now a 13 year cancer survivor and 27 year educator. They have two children, a daughter, Briana age 23 and a son, Michael age 20, who are both currently attending college after attending all 13 of their academic K-12 years in Walnut Valley Unified.
