Candidate for
Board Member; Greenfield Union School District

KNOWLEDGE OF SCHOOL ISSUES:

• Understand the complexities of reading school budgets.
• Understand employee contract negotiations from experience as a negotiator for teachers in the district where I work and from my past experience as a sitting school board member.
• Understand many of the challenges that schools will face with the implementation of the new Common Core Standards.
• Aware of the specific needs of our students here in Greenfield, having lived here for so long and having served on our school board.

• To continue to help our students and staff to meet many new challenges in education.
• To assist the District in recruiting and keeping the best teachers and staff for our schools.
• To work towards the future goal of a high school for our district.
• To help keep our District fiscally responsible.
• I believe that our school district is moving in the RIGHT DIRECTION and I want to help keep it moving forward.
