JOHN P MARINOS Education and Qualifications: My name is John Marinos and I am running for San Bruno Park School Board Trustee. I am a native to San Bruno and an active community volunteer. I believe the main purpose of a school district is to educate children and the job of a Trustee is to oversee the needs of the school district allowing teachers to provide the best possible education for our children. Kathryn, my wife, and I are active volunteers. Kathryn teaches a Technology Elective at Parkside Middle School in San Bruno and is a member of The San Bruno Lions. I graduated from San Bruno Schools and currently have my children enrolled in the District providing me with a vested interest in the District. I have a degree from SFSU in finance and have worked in the Grocery Industry in various management positions for over 20 years. I have been the Treasurer for Crestmoor PTO and Treasurer for AYSO assuring their financial stability. I have been a member of several school district committees, including a current member of the 7/11 committee- reviewing the District's surplus properties. I respectfully ask for your vote for San Bruno Park School District |
