1. As the demographics change in your township, how do you plan to provide for basic services?
|
Answer from Richard R. Bright, Jr.:
During my current term as township supervisor we as a board have worked hard to streamline the budget and implement cost saving measures. The township is now in a stronger financial position and better able to meet future challenges in providing basic services. One of our responsibilities in regard to basic services is road maintenance. We had an independent review done on the condition of all the township roads. We have now intiated a long term plan which prioritizes repairing worst roads first and will put us in a position in the future to do more regular maintenance before roads fall into significant disrepair. This will help prevent more costly repairs in the future and better road conditions for drivers.
