Candidate for
Council Member; City of Hayward

Rodney Loche is committed to Hayward. For more than 40 years, Rodney has called Hayward home. He is a proud graduate of Hayward High.

Rodney's service to Hayward includes his day job as Director of Community Development for a local non-profit, where he finds jobs for developmentally disabled clients and collaborates with community businesses and organizations.

For over a decade, he has served on City Commissions and Committees, serving two terms on the Citizens Advisory Commission and serving on the Hayward Sustainability Committee. Rodney is currently serving his second term on the Hayward Planning Commission. He served as Chair of both the Citizens Advisory Commission and the Planning Commission.

Rodney is a graduate Sacramento State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism. He has published 3 books, including a recently released children's book.

He lives in the Schafer Park neighborhood of Hayward with his wife Patty, a Projects Coordinator at Cal State East Bay. They have three daughters.
