Political Philosophy for Jeffrey Prang
Candidate for |
My top priority as assessor will be to restore the reputation of this department as the finest and fairest public office in the nation, treating all property owners and taxpayers with dignity and respect while producing a fair and reliable trillion-dollar assessment roll based on Proposition 13 guidelines. Among my goals is to ensure that proposition 13 and all exemptions are fairly applied for all homeowners and businesses alike, and to enhance user-friendly internet access to our data and to restore assessor Auerbach's property owners advocate program in a new and modernized structure. Importantly, the replacement of the office's 1970's era mainframe computer system for operation efficiency is my top technological priority. |
