I will continue to be a tireless advocate for excellence in safety services.I am proud to be serving you as your Torrance Councilman. For over 50 years in Torrance my family and I have benefited by and appreciated the protection and safety provided by our Police and Fire Departments. While making tough decisions I never forget those brave guardians who put there life on the line for all of us. Torrance has excellent Police and Fire Departments and our task is to make sure they get the support and equipment needed. I will encourage feedback from the Community and our Safety Officers to determine how we might enhance services. The FBI rates us as the 14th safest city. By continual examination of our safety functions we can work together to move us even higher in the ratings. I am pleased to have the endorsement of the Torrance Firefighters' Association and appreciate all the Department's efforts to keep us as a Class one Fire Department. Your vote for me will ensure that our safety officer's legacies and dedications are not forgotten. |
