Candidate for
Council Member; City of Livermore

Chung is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for UNCLE Credit Union in Livermore. She was re-elected six times as UNCLE Board Chairman. She has served as a Board Director in varied capacity for over 20 years with the organization. Under her leadership, UNCLE Credit Union grew from $1 million in assets in 1957 to $300 million in assets at present.

Chung has 31 years of experience and extensive working knowledge in the financial resource management, business operations, and environmental safety and health areas at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). Before coming to LLNL, she was the Budget & Cost Manager for Wisconsin Life Insurance Company, now a Central Life Assurance Company in Madison, Wisconsin.

Chung is active in the community where she lives. She has held various leadership positions besides UNCLE. A detailed list of her community involvement can be seen on her website. She is currently the Volunteer Judge for the Tri-Valley Youth Court. Previously, she served as the Vice-Chair for the Human Relations Commission, Alameda County. She also served as Chairwoman for the Social Concerns Committee of the City of Livermore.
