Full Biography for Lawrence J "Larry" Kramer, Capt, USN (Ret.)

While serving in the U.S. Navy, Larry Kramer commanded a submarine base with an annual budget of over $50 million and a work force of over 1,000 people. He was responsible for providing support to the submarines assigned to the base and held quarterly open meetings with the residents and users of the base to enhance communications and generate improvements to operations and services. Larry was also responsible for the operation of all strategic submarines in the Pacific Ocean, and designed and executed exercises to increase their demonstrated flexibility. In addition, he commanded three separate nuclear submarines manned by 110 to 170 personnel. Memberships
SJC Rotary Business Experience Following his naval career, Larry worked for 10 years at U.S. companies that specialized in the operation of electric generation power plants both domestically and abroad. Specifically:
Served for two years as General Manager of two gas turbine electric power stations in Ghana, West Africa and was responsible for daily operation, long range planning, and budgeting. Education

Married to Larry Kramer for 51years. Two Daughters
Kathy Wade (Masters Degree in International Business from University of California San Diego). Lives in San Clemente with husband Gardner Wade and their two sons, Curren (16), who attends San Clemente High School, and Garrett (14), who attends Shorecliffs Middle School. Community Involvement Larry Kramer volunteers his leadership skills to benefit numerous nonprofits, community and civic organizations, and local government.
