Parents with children attending district schools make the best Governing Board Members because as consumers of the services the district provides, they have the most at stake. 

• I am the parent of a Branham Junior and incoming freshman (2015). 
• I have served on the Branham school site council for the past 2 years.
• I have served on the Cambrian Elementary School District Governing Board for the last 4 years, currently as President.

Why does 4 years of governance experience matter? Because it takes up to two years to just learn the job of a Governing Board Member. I am uniquely qualified to join the CUHSD board and be ready out of the box, no assembly required.

• I believe that great schools are the foundation of a great community. 
• I believe in community service and I pledge to be of service to the constituents of CUHSD.
• I will visit schools and talk to students, teachers, and staff about what is working and what is not.
• I will work collaboratively with our board to ensure CUHSD stays on the right course to prepare our students for a lifetime of learning.
• I will work to improve information sharing from the district to the community.
• I will advocate for public education with community, city and state leaders to bring about the change our 21st Century Learners need to be successful.
• I will always be an independent voice that always puts the interest of our children first.
