I was born in San Antonio Texas, I am 60 years old I grew up in Iowa and have lived in San Diego County since 1963. I have been a resident of Chula Vista for over 25 years. My father had a Masters Degree in Social Work, and was a probation and California State parole officer. My mother was a homemaker. I am an only child and have one daughter Jadriana Jadriana graduated from the district and is a school teacher My office is located in downtown Chula Vista I have been an attorney for 34 years and real estate broker for 13 years I have been a successful small business owner for over 34 years I have devoted my legal career to representing youth accused of committing criminal offenses. In that capacity I have advised and mentored teenagers who have made bad decisions. I also have devoted my career to representing abused children and parents accused of abusing children I am past president of the Chula Vista Rotary community service club which provides leadership and community service opportunities for our members as well as students of the Sweetwater School District I am a former member of the Chula Vista Growth Management Oversight Commission and a board member of the San Diego Cultural Arts Alliance a collaboration of community leaders redirecting youth from graffiti vandalism through a mural arts program. __________________________________________________________ The following is a supporter e-mail to his family, friends and network: My friend, Richard Arroyo is running for Sweetwater Union High School District Board .
