Congress needs to enact fundamental reform to restore people's faith in government. We need leaders with new energy and fresh ideas who aren't beholden to the old politics. Members of Congress have voted themselves pay increases, gold-plated healthcare, and pension plans. They are taking junkets at record rates + largely paid for by special interests attempting to curry favor. In writing its own rules, Congress has become inoculated from the daily challenges facing hardworking Americans. That's why I have championed six bold proposals + all of which I pledged to abide by if elected + that will bring Members of Congress closer to their constituents.
