A Balanced Board-What I Bring

Diversity-the condition of being different # different from each other, having various forms and qualities. The current Board exemplifies that quality. We have the Doctor,the Nurse, the Attorney, and the Finance Professional.

Just as a balanced diversified investmentportfolio has helped us weather the ups and downs of the stock market, so does a balanced Board of Directors. Because we have a wide variety of professional experiances and talents, we have been able to accomplish more in the past 4 years than has been accomplished in the preceeding 20 years.

In addition to the current 4 years on the Board of Directors, I was the chief accountant in the late 70's at AV Hospital. I completed my Masters in Business Administration concentrating in finance from UCLA in 1978. My masters field study was a team thesis approach at Northridge Hospital Foundation

As a 25 year resident of the community, I have seen the changes in the makeup of the community and the need for expanding health care. The opening of the three community clinics in Little Rock, Lake Los Angeles, and Palmdale have expanded that care to those who have been unable to afford or reach health care in the center of Lancaster.

My active membership/participation on the High Desert Hospital Advisory Council has been instrumental in saving the hospital through a public/private partnership with several entities including AV Hospital.
