Traffic Relief

Traffic Relief is an important issue to Milpitas Residents and more needs to be done to decrease congestion on local roads.

The above projects are already planned or in their final stages. While they will bring some traffic relief to our city, there is still further creative action that we can take to decrease traffic congestion. Such as building highways and mass transit systems that will serve the county and the region, eliminating bottlenecks in our local roads caused by poor intersection design, improving the traffic flow on Montague Expressway, calming down the traffic on our residential streets in our neighborhoods, making our streets safer and more accessible for pedestrians and bicyclists, building houses and jobs closer together, and filling pot holes and repaving streets that are in poor condition.
