This information is provided by the candidate |
Steve has worked to preserve our resdential quality of life.He helped West Hollywood North stop the Pacific Hills expansion and he voiced opposition to the proposed Gold Mountain development that would straddle Sunset and Delongpre. He rewrote our zoning code to restrict "mansionization" in West Hollywood West and worked with Eastside residents to keep Costco out of the LaBrea Gateway project. Steve's support for the residents has provoked the anger of developers and the Chamber of Commerce which has targeted him for defeat in this election according to an article in the Los Angeles Times on January 27, 2003. |
