Candidate for
Councilmember; City of Seaside

Steve has been a resident of Seaside for 44 years. He was born into an Army family in 1947, and grew up at various Army posts in the United States and Europe. He was part of the first graduating class from Seaside High School in 1965.

Steve attended Monterey Peninsula College and Humboldt State University, receiving a degree in Civil Engineering in 1968.

After he served his country in the Army, Steve worked at various local businesses before beginning his 32 year engineering career, joining the Monterey County Public Works Department in 1972. Over the years he has served as Land Survey Party Chief, Senior Engineering Technician, Manager Planning Services, and Paralegal Real Estate Researcher. Today he is a private Geographic Information Systems contractor on assignment with the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments.

Steve and his wife, Georgette (a Seaside native) , have been happily married for 33 years. Their extended family and relatives are Seaside residents and Seaside business professionals.
