Water & Sewer Rates

Vallecitos Water District water and sewer rates are the second lowest in the County. Over the next 5-10 years, there are predictions about regional and statewide water supply agencies planning on a significant increase in rates and charges. These predicted increases by those agencies could mean increasing water and sewer rates to VWD customers.

As your elected representative, I am committed to keeping our local rates as low as possible. That may mean, in the future, the VWD Water District Board will have to oppose an significant rate increases by regional and statewide water supplying agencies. My prior elected position and experience should provide the tools and background to negotiate and, when necessary, oppose such rate increases. But your and vote is needed to allow me the opportunity to fight on your behalf for keeping our water and sewer rates the lowest in the County.
