Open doors for communication with parents, teachers, administration & students.
Presently, there is room for better communication skills. It is my belief that some people go away from Board meetings unhappy. This can not be prevented at times but should anyone go away feeling that rudeness was involved, it wouild make these people angry and the parents many times take it out on the teachers. We as a "team" must see all sides and try to help the students. It won't stop all problems but it will help defuse many. A possible solution would be to set up monthly forms that rotate around schools where parents, students, t eachers, etc. could come in and talk in an informal setting.
