Every child should have a chance to succeed and we must provide programs to insure that success. Children's needs are the first and last consideration in decision-making. Schools that draw students from low socio-economic areas need extra support. Intervention programs need to be in place for students who are in danger of falling behind. Children's needs are the first and last consideration in decision-making. Schools that draw students from low socio-economic areas need extra support, like low-cost or free preschools for children that can not afford them. Intervention programs need to be in place for students who are in danger of falling behind, from Kindergarten to high school. Teachers need support because of the demands of high-stakes testing and accountability. We need to include the teachers in decision making for improving student achievement. |
