Herb SANCHEZ's vision for the district is to invigorate Pomona's revitalization in order to address the critical public safety issues and economic development that is at the heart of District 5 (Phillips Ranch & Westmont). With your trust and vote he intends to assist Pomona leaders in creating a healthier and safer community in which residents can learn, work, shop, and raise a family.

Herb lives in Pomona with his wife (Registered Nurse) and two young daughters.

Herb's parents worked hard for a better life and instilled in their children a respect for civic duty and volunteerism. His father worked as a union meatpacker for 20 years. His mother worked as a wig maker and owned a small business. As a husband, father, resident, and constituent, Herb will engage businesses, other elected officials, environmentalists, education leaders, and working families to improve our community.

Herb has a degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration.

Herb's work experience as Community & Senior Citizens Representative for Los Angeles County

• Herb SANCHEZ has assisted in administering: $24.4 million for community agencies, including senior & domestic violence victims and their children in the Pomona valley area.

• As Founder, Herb SANCHEZ has developed, implemented a diabetes outreach program that has assisted people to become more aware of diabetes.
