As Chair of the Democratic Party County Central Committee (The Democratic Party of Contra Costa County) in 2003, coordinated with other interested organizations to Get Out the Vote opposing the Recall. After being told that Contra Costa County was going to approve the Recall, the coordinated efforts led to a 57% NO on the Recall vote.
