I have served as your City Council and Redevelopment Agency member for the last four years. During this time, we opened our new library, Centennial Recreation Center, new state-of-the-art Police Station, outdoor sports and recreation facilities. We solved our budget problems, invested in new streets, new commercial and retail development, and will and have invested in our downtown that that will lead to historic changes that will continue to revitalize our community. We are building smart, along transit corridors. We are allowing for increase density in the downtown core to support welcomed new development to mitigate blighted conditions. We have the lowest number of employees per capita than most other agencies in the area. We are managed efficiently and effectively with low cost to residents for general services such as waste and recycling. We continue to gown under a growth ordinance that will sustain the community for many years to come. We are better off than we were four years ago and I would very much like to continue the good work we have done to better serve the residents of Morgan Hill. |
